	Calling all budding film-makers! The Academic Committee is running a short film competition to challenge your creative skills. Get together with up to 6 of your fellow students and create a short film between 1-4 minutes based one of the following themes: comedy, horror/thriller, documentary or Matariki. It is a house-based competition, so house points will be given to the top three films. Movie tickets also go to the winners. For more information, come to a quick meeting on Monday 6th May in Room 52. For access to the classroom code to upload your videos or for the rules - email [email protected].

	Tēnā koutou, Te Reo Māori students who want to watch Ngā Manu Kōrero school speech competitions 9.30am to c.11am on Wednesday in the hall please check with your Wednesday morning teachers and give your names to one of the reo Māori kaiako. Juniors who want to go to regionals - please be prepared to give your mihi!

	MBC Target Shooting starts this week on Wednesday the 8th of May at the rifle range at Athletic Park. Start time on the Wednesday will be 3.45pm and the cost this year will be $7 per session. Anyone who is interested in having a go is welcome to attend.
