Bachelor of Radiation Therapy – Changes to Entry Requirements

We are pleased to advise of a change in the regulations regarding entry requirements for school leavers applying to study a Bachelor of Radiation Therapy in 2025. Key changes are:

1.    The removal of the requirement to be taking an English-rich subject in NCEA level 3
2.    A reduction in the number of NCEA Level 3 credits required in Maths (Mathematics, Statistics or Calculus) and Physics or Biology from 16 to 14 credits.

As well as these changes we intend to make provisional offers to school leavers earlier than in the past. Rather than offers being made in mid-December, we aim to make provisional offers in October (conditional on achieving University Entrance and 14 credits in Maths, as described above, and Physics or Biology). This should provide more certainty for school leavers in planning study and accommodation options.
